this is the beauty of natural eggs. when you go to the grocery store, you only get the eggs that are deemed “perfect.” i think the coolest part of having hens is all of the imperfections in the eggs—spots, weirdly elongated eggs, eggs that look like hershey kisses, discolorations. they’re all beautiful.
